What the 6,700 lb payload handles
The 20 ft tandem axle deck and 6,700 lb payload cover most cars, trucks, and SUVs. Typical curb weights below, so you can sanity-check the load against the payload and your own tow rating.
A sedan or crossover runs roughly 2,800 to 3,800 lbs. Rides on the deck with plenty of payload to spare.
An F-150 or Tahoe class vehicle sits around 5,000 to 6,000 lbs, inside the 6,700 lb payload with room to plan carefully.
Grab a vehicle at auction across town and get it home in one trip instead of paying for a tow.
A dead battery or a seized engine loads with the removable 12,000 lb winch and wireless remote. Line it up, winch it on, strap it down.
Numbers above are typical manufacturer curb weights for planning, not limits for this trailer. Add your load to the trailer's own weight and keep the total under your tow vehicle's rated capacity. Need to double check the fit? Call us at (270) 612-3331.

Car Hauler questions
Are tie downs or straps included?
Yes, all straps are included with the Car Hauler, along with the removable 12,000 lb winch and wireless remote.
Will my vehicle be able to tow the trailer?
Most modern 1/4 ton trucks are capable of towing around 10,000 pounds and all of our units are under that weight. You have to factor in the weight of your load aside from the weight of the trailer and confirm the towing capacity for your truck. We can help you figure out exactly what you can tow when booking.
Can I load a vehicle that does not run?
Yes. The Car Hauler comes with a removable 12,000 lb winch with a wireless remote, so a dead or disabled vehicle can be pulled onto the deck. See more in our FAQ.
